A long week on a hard road...

Well everyone to say that this week has been a hard one is an understatement... with my little lady being ill sleep has been only something I can long for, crying is something I am used to and crafting is something that I used to do...  thankfully a full week later though and I'm almost back on track.
So I still don't have my sd cutter, was going to get it this morning but my local craft shop have sold it... nooooooo, they have one at their other branch and will pop it over for me so hopefully this time tomorrow I'll have the cutter and will be having lots and lots of fun with it.
I have however managed to get 2 cards made up, one for my mum (a get well card) and one for a neighbour (new baby), both made using the template on the do crafts sight for Claire's weekly challenge, so providing my lovely bundle of joy settles (something she's not as I type) I'll have pictures of them uploaded and on the sight by this evening!
So I'm off to put together my step-sons birthday card, templates are being drawn up and re-drawn at the mo but I'll post it on here as soon as I have made it up... I'm hoping it will be a good one.

Finding my feet and crafting again

So here I am, I've found my way to blogger land and am starting to find my feet once again... just 6 weeks ago I was honoured to give birth to my wonderful little girl Cerys, which as wonderful as she is its turn't my whole world upside down and slowly but surely I am making my way back to normality.

With a new found passion for crafting and card making I am hoping to get more involved with the crafting scene... in the past 6 weeks alone I have spent far too much on new craft goodies.  My favourite being doodlebug designs - the colours are amazing and the textured papers - wow!!!  My next purchase is going to be a big one and I aim to have it by the end of the month (providing I can pursuade my hubby)... the sd silhouette cutter... a whole world will be opened up to me.

I am now purposely finding reasons to make cards, just finding the time is the issue... still leaving a half made card on the desk while I cuddle up to my little girl isn't an issue, unless my 3 year old gets a hold of it and decides to re-design it that is!

Well I'm off to the pile of iorning and clean clothes that need sorting out while I have the time...
